Publishing gone wild

Press Power

Publishing has been a part of who I am, ever since I graduated. I believe in publishing as resistance, as a way of carving out your own door, instead of waiting for others to open their doors for you. When you publish, you decide what should go out there, and when you don’t consider publishing as a way of making money, you’re free to publish the PUNK way, only concerned with creating art of high quality, raising needed questions and challenging the norms.

If I want to publish poetry written on an oak leaf, I’ll do so, if I want to write a poem consisting of seeds in a row, I’ll do that. And if I want to give it all away digitally, that’s how this publishing platform will work.

The world has been put under tremendous pressure from capitalism and patriarchy exploiting every bit of the great organism of Earth. That’s why we need to press back, with new narratives, new words and new versions of what the world will be like, when we take charge.
